Speed Mentoring Luncheon
November 9, 2024
The Speed Mentoring Luncheon is an empowering event to help young women learn to network and meet potential mentors. This nonprofit 501(c)(3) event will bring together high school seniors and college students for an empowering afternoon of networking, professional development, and mentorship. Professional women and female students are welcome (collegiate and high school seniors). Professional attire requested.
This unique event provides expert training in networking, body language, and communication, along with one-on-one mentoring for students from Nashville’s top women leaders.
This event will be held on November 9th at Carrabba’s in Green Hills, Nashville, TN from 11am-1:30pm. Everyone is encouraged to bring business cards to exchange contact information with other students and the professional women, though there will be no official matching after the event.
Here's What's included:
Ticket price is $55 for professional women mentors and covers the cost of your hot meal (entree, side, salad, and dessert) and one for a student. There is no cost for students but there is a competitive application process. Each participant will also receive a copy of the Unlikely AchieveHER workbook. Please add a donation, or consider becoming a sponsor, at checkout to cover workshop materials.
Here is how to attend:
*College Students and High School Seniors: You don't want to miss this exclusive event made with you in mind. Please complete an application as soon as possible. Unfortunately, due to high demand and limited space, not every application can be approved. Students are expected to stay for the entire duration of the event. Please do not apply if you can not be their for the entire event.
*Professional Women Mentors: Get ready to meet our future leaders! The mentoring portion will be a dynamic speed mentoring format, similar to speed dating, along with other intentional mentoring activities—all taking place that day.
There’s no long-term commitment, just an opportunity to share your expertise. We kindly ask for a donation to cover the cost of your buffet meal and one for a college AchieveHER attendee. Each participant will also receive a copy of the Unlikely AchieveHER workbook. We’re seeking sponsorship to cover the cost of the workshop materials and workbooks. Please contact us for the full sponsorship package details!
